About Scott:

Hi, I’m Scott. I’m an Oregon guy through and through—I grew up in Oregon City, and no matter where life has taken me, this has always been home. I’m a dad to three adult kids (two daughters and a son), which means I’m in that strange and pretty great stage of life where you’re equal parts proud, entertained, and wondering how they all became adults so fast. These days, I’m also single, figuring out life in a new season, and trying to do it with a little honesty, a little humor, and a lot of perspective.

I love cheering on local teams—and yes, I’m a Duck fan… which I fully realize puts me on dangerous ground with about half of you. I’ve always been drawn to good conversations, the kind that go a little deeper than surface-level, whether that’s about life, faith, or just how things actually work. I also have a soft spot for used bookstores and tend to buy more books than I’ll ever realistically read. And at one point in my life, I stood on the back of a member of a power team while they did pushups on TV… which probably tells you everything you need to know about my willingness to say yes to random moments. At the end of the day, I care about real connection, real community, and being part of something meaningful right here in Oregon.

Starbucks Order: Venti Creme Brulee Latte or Caramel Macchiato  (When asked if it is hot or iced, I say "hot, like me." Very funny.)

Friday Night Activity: Reading a book and listening to music.

Random Fact: I pretend not to like the dog. But I actually, kind of, like the dog.
