Laughter and conversation among friends are the joyful sounds remembered by the cancer care team at Samaritan during the 2019 National Cancer Survivors Day® event. This was the last in-person gathering the Samaritan Cancer Program held before the COVID-19 global pandemic put a pause on such activities.
Now, three years later, the Samaritan Cancer Program is thrilled to announce they will resume the in-person celebration to honor cancer survivors and their loved ones.
National Cancer Survivors Day – Sunday, June 4 – from 1 to 3 p.m. Held in Corvallis at the CH2M HILL Alumni Center on the campus of Oregon State University.
The event is free to all. Guests will enjoy good food, an arts activity, conversing with community cancer resource providers, talks from Samaritan’s cancer care team and fellow cancer survivors, plus more.
