I don't have much experience with Scandinavian food beyond the Swedish meatballs served at the IKEA cafeteria. I think it's time to change that, and there's no better place to explore all things Scandinavia than at the 64th annual Scandinavian Festival happening through Sunday in Junction City.
It's awesome that the festival continues to be free, so everyone can come enjoy entertainment and cultural activities without cost. And, of course, there's plenty of food and shopping to enjoy. I think I'm most excited to try the Norwegian pancakes, and the special donuts with a name I can't pronounce.
If you're planning to go, here's a link to more info about the Scandinavian Festival.
