My husband and I are SO READY for grandkids. Our kids are SO NOT READY to be parents. Sigh.
We have all this grandparent love with nowhere to go, which is why I thing this is a really sweet idea. There's a facebook group called Surrogate Grandparents USA for "Grandparents who are missing having grandchildren in their lives and families whose children are missing having Grandparents in their lives."
I just joined and I don't know much about it yet. But if you also wish you had a grandchild or grandparent in your life (or your child's life), you might want to check it out!
