Something really good is happening at a unique summer camp program in Fullerton, California.
Twice a week, a group of teen girls is learning practical life skills from the best possible teachers - grandmothers! Each session includes a craft and a cooking lesson. The girls are learning skills like sewing, ironing, cooking, and embroidery.
I love this idea because everyone gets something valuable out of it. Seniors have the opportunity to stay active and connected, and young people are learning skills they'll use for the rest of their lives, somewhere other than Youtube of TikTok.
