A 7-year-old from the Willamette Valley has already endured more than most adults. Cash Thorstad from Albany was diagnosed with cancer last year, just before Christmas. After months of really tough treatments, thank God, he is cancer free. And, he and his family just found out they’ll get to celebrate this victory in Hawaii!
Thanks to Albany Subaru and the Make-A-Wish foundation this young warrior is headed to Maui, where his favorite things, the ocean and sea turtles are plentiful. Not only that, his parents were gifted a brand new Subaru!
