If you have an above ground pool, I'm sure you already do all the things you're supposed to do in order to keep little ones safe in your yard. However, there's a hidden-in-plain-sight danger that has led to the recall of millions of back yard pools.
Several brands and models of pools sold between 2002 and 2025 were designed with compression straps on the outside for support. Tragically, at least nine toddlers and young children have drowned after using these straps to climb into the pool.
