"Friends Of Hope" is a not-for-profit organization that helps to support the radio ministries of HOPE 107.9 FM
and KWIL 790 AM The Word.
For the last 50 years we have received support form KWIL for Christ through the generous donations of people who believed in the power of Christian radio to change lives. In 1976 KHPE 107.9 FM was purchased and extended our reach throughout Western Oregon. Today HOPE 107.9 FM and KWIL 790 AM The Word are bringing hope to life to more people than ever before.
So why do we need your help?

Many of our financial partners have supported KWIL for Christ since it was founded in 1958. If we are to continue broadcasting Christian radio for the next 50 years, we need a new generation of partners to stand with us as "Friends of Hope"

Because our desire is to keep our airwaves family friendly and filled with hope, we are selective about the advertisers we allow on the air. In fact, there is a substantial amount of advertising revenue we do not accept simply because it doesn't share our values and would contradict the message of hope we bring to our listeners.

As independent, locally-owned radio stations, we face many challenges that corporate-owned companies do not. Our independence is important to us, but so is our desire to reach more and more people with the message of hope!
