Monroe BBQ & Logging Festival

Monroe is proud of its logging heritage and sense of community. To celebrate our rural roots and to commemorate our past, we are hosting the first annual Monroe BBQ & Logging Festival.

The Monroe BBQ & Logging Festival officially kicks off on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and features the area's only BBQ Competition, shopping handcrafted goods with local artisans & crafters, experiencing an antique log truck cruise plus show and shine, listening to live music, sipping and savoring locally crafted beer, wine, spirits, food plus family fun activities and more to enjoy!

During the BBQ Competition, BBQ Teams will compete for a $1,500 grand prize awarded to the best BBQ judged on taste, texture, appearance, and presentation. After the competition, BBQ tastings will be available for purchase and served hot off the smokers including delicious Ribs, Beef Slides, and T-Bone Steaks.

You may also drop by Monroe City Hall located at 664 Commercial St., Monroe, OR 97456 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, to pick up a paper copy of the Festival's All Vendors and BBQ Competition applications.
