Details: Sisters In Stitches will hold its 4th Annual Quilt Show at First Baptist Church of Eugene on Friday, May 2nd and Saturday, May 3rd. This year’s theme is “Women of Courage & The Underground Railroad,” showcasing 200 quilts from all over Oregon, many of them Civil War themed. Saturday will feature a Trunk Show on Underground Railroad Quilts, and a Civil War Era Fashion Show modeled by the Northwest Civil War Council. All proceeds from the show go toward ‘comfort quilts’ made for shut-ins, chemo therapy patients, veterans and shelter kids.
Cost of the show is $10 for both days, and includes one raffle ticket [on a choice of two specially-made quilts]. Lunch will be available for purchase on May 3rd from 11-1.
