WHAT: The Salvation Army in Washington County Looking for Volunteers
WHEN: Weekdays and Saturday mornings; days and times vary depending upon the volunteer task
WHERE: 351 SE Oak Street, Hillsboro
DETAILS: Volunteers are needed for a number of tasks, including driving to Starbucks to pick up donated pastries, answering phones, helping clients pick out food in our food pantry, and helping serve and clean up for our hot meal program. The Salvation Army serves 18,000 Washington County people in need every year, and we cannot do it without volunteer help.
