What:  West Albany Hi-Steppers Host 19th Annual “Celebration of Dance” Competition

When: Saturday, November 17, 2012, 12 noon

Where: West Albany High School

Details: Over 400 dancers will compete in jazz, lyrical, modern, hip-hop, kick, novelty, pom and drilldown.  Round 1 begins at noon; Round 2 begins at 4 pm.  Admissions are $10 all day; $7 per round for adults and students; Kids 4 and under are free.  This event is a fundraiser for the Hi-Steppers to cover the expenses of going to the State Dance Championships in March.

Approx. 50 dance routines will be performed by 18 high school dance teams from all over the state, including South Albany, Lebanon, Crescent Valley, Corvallis, Stayton, N. Eugene, Marist, Sprague, W. Salem and Philomath. The West Albany Hi-Steppers will do three exhibition performances.

Flowers, balloons, and gifts will be available on site. Concessions will be open all day.
