What: Memorial Middle School 8thGraders hold “Let Freedom Ring” Read-Aloud-A-Thon for School Trip Fundraiser
When: November 3, 10:00 a.m. to November 4, 10:00 a.m.
Where: Pop's Branding Iron, Albany
Details: A group of patriotic 8th graders from Memorial Middle School will hold their first ever, "Let Freedom Ring" Read-Aloud-A-Thon! Students have set a goal of reading aloud the Declaration of Independence, the U.S Constitution, and the Bill of Rights for 24 continuous hours. This event is a fundraiser for the students' trip to Washington D.C., Philadelphia and New York slated for June, 2013, when students will have a chance to visit Independence Hall, Arlington National Cemetery, Ground Zero memorial, and other historic sites. Please stop by Pop's to cheer these young folks on as they read.
